Capstone has incorporated and developed systems to speed up construction timelines while vastly improving the overall quality of its construction. For example, we use cast-in-place concrete panels and ship pre-fabricated panels from the United States that we erect on-site by crane.

What To Expect

You’ll never be without a friendly face during this process. Our General Manager, JD Russell, and Operations Manager, Mike Smith, will work with you during the entire pre-construction process, including permitting and setting a controling budget.

    Discovery

    After our initial meeting, we spend time listening to your requirements and needs to align them with your vision. Because each home is completely unique and custom, we understand who you are and how you want to live in The Bahamas, all the way down to the smallest detail. From there, we pair you with an architect to begin the plans for your new home.

    Assemble the Team

    Once you and the architect have crafted a vision, we assign your project to a unique team of dedicated professionals, selected based on the needs of your job.

    Design

    Now that we have a better sense of what you’re looking for, we review the budget and timeline with our internal teams. Once approved, we begin the initial diagrams and drawings with input from Engineers and Consultants, confirming that the design stays true to the vision.

    Construction Readiness

    As we prepare for construction by filing documents and getting the needed approvals, you will be set up with Procore, live 24/7 viewable insight into the status and progress of your home. You will also receive a monthly executive summary detailing each month’s achievements and future needs.

    Project Activation

    Once all loose ends are tied up, construction can begin with your team. Teams typically include a dedicated Superintendent, PM, Procurement, Quality Surveyor, and Accounting.

    With daily hands-on management, your team will work through our three steps after the foundation is put in place.

    1. Home efficiency
    2. Trimming out of finishing touches
    3. Two-phased cleaning, including a white-glove cleaning

    Orientation + Handoff

    Once your home is complete, we assemble and present to you the following:

    • Detailed records of the build process, warranties, installation and instruction manuals
    • Service agreements, and vendor contacts
    • Conduct a full training process about your new home
    • Meeting with a landscaper
